OUR STORY
Designs by Elo was established in the early months of 2021, coinciding with the challenging times of the pandemic. Liz, driven by the need to adjust her home to accommodate remote work and learning embarked on a mission to cultivate a peaceful ambience amidst the turbulence. Her experiences have now evolved into a passion for assisting individuals in crafting spaces that emphasize the importance of mental and physical well-being and crafting spaces that have a warm refinement that is also timeless.
Liz Lo - Founder + Creative Director
Liz studied interior architecture always fascinated about how spaces are transformed. With a decade immersed in commercial design, she has transitioned to nurturing residential havens and boutique commercial clients at Designs by Elo.
Liz’s dedication to crafting enduring, comfortable environments using sustainable resources and evocative art forms the core of her design philosophy. Her creativity is fueled by collaborative client connections and alliances with architects and builders. Liz strives to fashion spaces that narrate compelling tales while cherishing her family above all else.
She comes from a big family with eight kids and enjoys being with her brothers and sisters. She speaks Hmong, but grew up in the US and has immersed both cultures in her life. When she's not working, she likes to zumba, cook, take quiet walks and spending time with her husband, kids, and siblings.
